CLE Counseling Small Businesses
PBI CLE – This program is designed to equip attorneys with practical knowledge and strategic insight to better serve small business clients at every stage of growth. The program begins with an in-depth session on intellectual property, where participants will learn the essential elements of identifying, protecting, and leveraging a client’s key assets—from branding and marketing materials to proprietary processes and client relationships. Following a brief transition, the program shifts to the critical area of mergers and acquisitions, offering step-by-step guidance on advising small business clients through complex transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, negotiation, and post-closing considerations. The final session focuses on designing and delivering exceptional client experiences, emphasizing systems and strategies that law firms can implement to build stronger relationships, improve client satisfaction, and enhance overall practice success. Together, these sessions provide a comprehensive, practical framework for attorneys committed to effectively counselling small businesses in today’s dynamic legal and commercial landscape.
