Associate Attorney – Family Law/General Practice
Christopher Reibsome Law, LLC is a busy, three attorney general practice law-firm in Greencastle, PA. Due to an upcoming military deployment, we are seeking an Associate Attorney to assume immediate responsibility for an active caseload, consisting primarily of divorce and other family law matters.
Flexibility will be granted to develop a practice in additional fields of law, if desired.
Responsibilities
- Manage an active docket of divorce, custody, and support matters from intake to settlement or trial
- Conduct hearings, conferences, and negotiations
- Draft pleadings, motions, settlement proposals, and correspondence
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff
- Develop case strategy and maintain organized files
Required Qualifications
- D and admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-5 years litigation experience (any form)
- Experience in family law

MidPenn Legal Services is a non-for-profit law firm that provides free civil legal services, to indigent clients, in eighteen counties throughout central Pennsylvania. We represent clients in a wide variety of practice areas including but not limited to, family law, mortgage foreclosure, landlord and tenant law, unemployment compensation, debt collection, benefits, expungements and record sealing, and social security.
MidPenn is open to qualified interns ranging from law students to high school students. Opportunities for certified legal internships exist, for law students meeting, those requirements. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with our attorneys, interact with clients, and preform legal work commensurate with their skills.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage various family law cases which include divorce, support, and custody matters
- Legal research and prepare legal documents

Requirements
- Licensed to practice in PA
- 3 -5 years family law experience
- Good standing with the PA Bar Association with no disciplinary actions
- Expertise in various areas of family law
- Negotiation and advocacy skills
- A candidate with a book of business is a plus but not necessary
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time and caseload efficiently
- Proficiency in legal software and research tools
