Franklin County Bar Foundation’s Constitution Day Art Contests

The Franklin County Bar Foundation in partnership with the 39th Judicial District of PA invites area school-age children to enter our Constitution Day 2026 art contests.

Help us celebrate Constitution Day by participating in our Kindergarten–5th Grade Coloring Contest! Pick up or print a coloring page, return it by August 28, 2026, and you’ll be entered to win a prize.

How to enter:

Mail completed page(s) to:

Please write your child’s name, grade for 2026-2027 school year, and address on the back of each page.

Limit four (4) submissions per child.

Deadline & prizes:

For every coloring page received by August 28, 2026, your child will receive one (1) entry into the drawing (up to four (4) entries per child).

Four (4) winners total will be drawn at random and will receive $25 each.

Winners will be announced at our Constitution Day Celebration on September 15, 2026. First name and grade may be used for winner announcements.

Display & photo use:

Submitted pages will be displayed at the Franklin County Courthouse during the month of September.

Pages will not be returned and will become the property of the Franklin County Bar Foundation.

Help us celebrate Constitution Day by participating in our Middle School Poster Contest! Create a poster showing what the U.S. Constitution means to you.

Prizes:

  • 1st Place: $100
  • 2nd Place: $60
  • 3rd Place: $40

Poster theme:

Create a poster showing what the U.S. Constitution means to you.

Poster size:

Posters should be 22″ x 28″ (standard poster size).

  • Student’s name
  • Grade for the 2026–2027 school year

Judging:

Posters will be judged on accurate representation of the theme, creativity, and visual appeal.

Winners will be notified by Friday, August 28, 2026.

Help us celebrate Constitution Day by participating in our High School Art Contest! Create a 2-D artwork showing what the U.S. Constitution means to you.

Prize: One winner will be chosen to have their art piece displayed at the Franklin County Courthouse and will receive $500

Contest theme:

Create a 2-D artwork showing what the U.S. Constitution means to you.

Artwork requirements:

  • Artwork must be two-dimensional.
  • Artwork can be no larger than 24 inches X 36 inches, 4 inches deep, and 15 pounds, including the frame (if applicable). Artwork may be portrait or landscape.
  • Accepted mediums for the two-dimensional artwork are as follows:
    • Paintings: oil, acrylics, watercolor, etc.
    • Drawings: colored pencil, pencil, ink, marker, pastels, charcoal (Charcoal and pastel drawings must be fixed.)
    • Prints: lithographs, silk screen, block prints
    • Mixed Media: use of more than two mediums such as pencil, ink, watercolor, etc.
    • Collages (must be two-dimensional)
  • Each entry must be original in concept, design, and execution and may not violate U.S. copyright laws. Any entry that has been copied from an existing photo or image (including a painting, graphic, or advertisement), that was created by someone other than the student violates the competition rules and will not be accepted.
